The Manager of Financial Affairs will oversee the GLRF day-to-day finances. The most immediate task will be to develop a current and projected budget for the coming year and the following year. The other immediate need is to create financial controls and establish accountability so that GLRF can submit its financials to donors, foundations and charity organizations for grants and requests for funding of special projects.
The Manager of Financial Affairs will work closely with the Executive Director and the Manager of Corporate Affairs on a number of issues, the most pressing of which is the filing for tax-exempt status. He/she will report to the Treasurer of the Board of Directors.
As GLRF grows, it will become necessary to develop an Annual Report that will include forward-looking financial statements.
GLRF seeks an individual with extensive finance experience and some exposure to non-profit management. An advanced degree in finance or accounting is preferred. If interested, please contact Brian Todd at execdir@grlf.info
