Narrative
Following the cancellation of the the EuroGames Stockholm 2015 Rowing Regatta, a small queer regatta is being organized by Danish rowers (and GLRF members) Adrian and Rune at Sweden's top rowing course, Magelungen. They have been working with Stockholms Röddförening (Stockholm Rowing Club) to borrow boats.The track is situated approximately 15 km south of central Stockholm.
The course is planned for 1,000 meters.
The planned races will use two boats in the following categories: 4X, 4-, 8+, and 2X.
A contribution of €15 /SEK 140 per person per boat category is requested for the races.
Registration
Registration has closedAdrian sent an email asking everyone to indicate their preferred boats (4X/4-, 8+, and possibly 2X) and any teams formed so far, as well as people wanting to race but without a boat. The latest excel sheet spreadsheet is attached under the files tab.
The draw is still in flux and no date has been scheduled.
