Narrative
The regatta was hosted at the Montreal Bassin Olympique, a FISA Class A certified course. The event was sanctioned and calendared by FISA and feature FISA certified judges. The event was run on the FISA World Masters template. The course was 1,000 meters, offered six fully buoyed lanes and all races were handheld starts. The event was organized by the Outgames Regatta Organising Committee with support from Rowing Canada, Aviron Québec, the Montreal Rowing Club (MRC), and Odawagan, the GLBT rowing crew of MRC.Competition was open to men and women, age 18 - 99. Race events were held for single sex boats and mixed boats. There were no adaptive entries. Boat rentals were available and featured race-competitive quality boats.
The regatta had a total of 304 participants.
