Head of the Charles - GLRF is there!
As a result of an incredibly generous $1000 donation from a rower, GLRF will have a booth at the Expo Tent at the Head of the Charles in Boston this fall. The event is considered to be one of the select few, premium worldwide rowing events. Additional donations are needed for electrical power and website access. Can you help? See the HOCR page.
Norway and New Zealand join GLRF
With the first registrations from Oslo, Norge, and Hamilton, New Zealand, the GLRF global community can now count 12 countries. Over 200 members are now registered and 27% are from outside the US> See the complete country list.

The first elite rower
GLRF is proud to welcome out first elite rower. He medalled at the FISA World's in the very near past and wants to help other rowers that are in similar situations. Welcome dude, and if anyone has ideas for layout, content, or links for the GLRF Open/Elite Community page, let us know.
Sports news feed for GLRF Main Boathouse?
Across the web, the use of RSS feeds, in which content from one site is inserted into another, is gaining in popularity. The problem is the feeds draw content from only that webiste. Row2k has great news but GLRF is a global organization and a global rowing news feed is a better fit. There is a paid news feed and at $1000 per quarter, would have to be supported by an exclusive sponsorship deal. Take a look at this site, and then click on Olympics. Sports Features. Let us know what you think.
