The 2005 Yarra Midsumma Regatta

This just in! The Melbourne Argonauts will host a regatta in conjunction with the annual Melbourne Midsumma Gay and Lesbian Festival next February. The one-day competition will be held on the Yarra River, directly across from the festival, on Sunday, 13 February 2004. Check it out.


New York Pride Rowing Association – congrats!

New York City has a new gay and lesbian rowing club. The first crews hit the water on 06 Jul. GLRF issued a press release and is hosting a temporary internal website. Click over to the see the pics and read all about it.


Chicago and Montreal registrations go live

The 2006 Chicago Gay Games VII and the Montreal World Outgames 2006 online registration systems went live on 01 Jul. Both events offer participants discounts for registrations during 2004. Once again, let us say it loud and clear: ReadyAllBoats!2004. There are buttons for each event at Regattas +


Creating a global community: skype

GLRF is dedicated to creating a global community for gay and lesbian rowers. This is another step in that direction. Some of you may have heard about telephone calls on the internet. The quality was lousy. No longer. Now there’s skype. It’s called peer to peer and once you download the program, you can call any other skype user anywhere in the world, for ….free. All you need is a headset for your computer. Call GLRF: glrfcentral.
