There was an ad hoc group put together for Montreal’s OutGames.  While there’s no dedicated gay rowing team right now, I understand that Harlem River Community Rowing is pretty close in terms LGBT representation.  Also, in Manhattan there’s the Peter Jay Sharp Boathouse.
I row out of Nereid in New Jersey because I can keep my boat there.  Other clubs within driving distance are Passaic River in NJ and Pelham Community rowing, which is just over the Bronx border in Westchester.

hey there all.  i’m moving back to the city from dc, where i row with dc strpkes (gay rowing team).  is there any gay rowing team in the city?  who do some of you row with?  just want to get a feel for what the dofferent options in the city are for comp masters rowing.

Got an email from the marketing folks behind My Big Gay Italian Wedding. They are interested in doing some kind of partnership/promotion with Crew New York.  The most likely idea is a member’s night group discount.
Has anyone heard anything about the play? Any interest? It would be fun to set up an evening where all of us could meet. An I will take any excuse to jump on a plane and head to NYC!
If there is some interest, I would send out a community update to GLRF members for NJ, NYC, and event Boston. 
Midweek or weekend? Preferred dates?
